About us!

About San-Marie

Established in 1963, San-Marie is a friendly, family-run stage school in Billericay, welcoming students from 18 months upwards.

We offer performance and examination classes in a supportive environment, helping every student develop confidence, technique and a love of dance.

What we teach!

Little Stars

A fun introduction to dance from 18 months, including Ballet, Tap, Modern and Acro. Students learn through music, movement and props, collecting stickers towards their Little Stars certificate and prize.

Performance Classes

Our popular Performance Classes combine Tap, Modern/Commercial and Musical Theatre, with students working towards our annual show at the Towngate Theatre. Performance class fees include costumes.

Exam Classes

Dedicated ISTD classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Contemporary, allowing students to progress through the grades at a pace suited to their ability and commitment.

Competition & Display Teams

Our Competition and Display Teams give dedicated students additional opportunities to perform, compete and represent San-Marie at exciting events and venues, including Disneyland Paris, Alton Towers and cruise performances.
